What do you mean it’s April?! I am beyond ready for it to be actually Spring. I am sick of the 60 degree weather one day, and snow the next! But the hardest part about this time of year is figuring out what to wear! Some people are wearing shorts, and the other half are still wearing their winter jackets.
Scroll down for tips on how I transition my closet in-between Winter and Spring!
1. Mixing pastel colors into your neutrals
During the Winter months, the only colors I wear are, black, white, gray, and tan. It is nice when you’re transitioning because you have base colors and it’s easy to add pops of color!
2. Layer
Some days it is freezing in the morning, and steamy in the afternoon. I suggest layering a cardigan over a tee or blouse so you can adapt to the weird weather changes throughout the day.
3. Trade in the black jeans
Brightening up your wardrobe is simple by moving to lighter washes of denim!
4. Bring those mules out
Mules have been my favorite shoe trend yet! They are so simple, but add a little height and sophistication to any outfit. I believe it pulls a whole outfit together. They are light and give you the opportunity to show off that new pedicure.
I hope these quick tips helped you out! Share in the comments below how you transition your wardrobe!
