If you have heard the song “Cool Girl” by Tove Love, that is the exact song that was stuck in my head the entire time I was wearing this outfit! I never thought I could pull off an oxford type shoe, but the one from Nordstrom’s caught my eye. I used to steer clear from men’s inspired shoes because I thought I would look odd in them. I now believe it just has to be styled correctly! If it were warmer out, I would definitely style these shoes with a button-up dress or a sweatshirt material dress. I paired mine with my favorite flare, crop jeans, and a crew-neck sweater from Urban Outfitters. Can you tell it’s one of my favorite stores? I’m ‘basic’ I know.
The sweater is also so out of my comfort zone, but I’m glad! I love trying out new styles and trying to wear different statement pieces. This 80’s inspired sweater is thin, cropped, and metallic. Not only that, but the sleeves are extra-wide! These days I am all about the sleeve details from lace, bell, to extra wide!
I hope everyone has a fantastic week and goes out of their comfort zones!
